Have you heard of a photography company that specializes in capturing vacation memories? Imagine one that connects travelers with local photographers in more than 300 cities worldwide so travelers can have professional photos taken of themselves, their family, and their friends in the places they visit. Flytographer has got you covered!

We recently took advantage of their service in our home of Portugal, and we fell in love with the results of our photo session. I definitely plan to use them again on our next family vacation. Read my Flytographer review below and find my unique Flytographer code for $50 off your next session.

Why Use Flytographer?

We are content creators and capture a ton of content. We know how to stage photos and capture them on our own. Why would we want to rely on someone else to capture our photos? A few reasons!

  1. Give The Family Photographer A Break!

Chris, my husband, does a wonderful job of capturing our photos, but it’s exhausting trucking a tripod and remote and staging the photos while the kids wiggle and run away (and subsequently, I scream at them). It doesn’t make for a very fun day for anyone. Having a professional photographer dedicated for 50+ minutes to capturing your memories speeds everything up, lightens the mood, and results in better photos overall!

  1. High-Quality Photos

Flytographer photographers are skilled professionals who can capture stunning images in various settings. They use high-quality equipment and have an eye for detail, so you can trust that the photos you receive will be top-notch.

  1. Convenience

You can book a Flytographer session in advance, so you know exactly when and where you’ll be meeting your photographer. This takes the stress out of finding a photographer on your own while on vacation. You can pick a touristy area with your photographer that you wanted to visit anyway and accomplish both at the same time!

  1. Unique Perspective

Local photographers know the best spots in their cities, so they can take you to locations you may not have discovered alone. They can also offer a unique perspective on the city or country you’re visiting, providing a deeper understanding and appreciation of the culture.

  1. Affordable

Flytographer’s prices are reasonable for the quality of work they provide. You can choose from different packages that range in price, depending on how many photos you want and the session length.

  1. Lasting Memories

The photos you receive from your Flytographer session will be memories you can cherish forever. They are much better than any souvenir you might stick in a drawer somewhere! What a beautiful display of your family memory. They will remind you of the places you visited and the experiences you had long after your vacation is over.

Family photoshoots with flytographer are fun!

Tips for Getting the Most Out of Your Flytographer Session

Achieving that picture-perfect family portrait can be overwhelming, especially when you don’t know how to reach it. Here are some tips from our photo shoot in Portugal:

  1. What To Wear To Your Fytographer Shoot

Make sure you wear comfortable and appropriate clothes for the location and the weather. I’m all about matching clothes, but with minor variations. For example, have a piece of clothing for everyone that is dark blue, or everyone’s shirts in a dark blue color with coordinating bottoms of 1-2 different colors. I love blue or green for nature shots and white tops for beach shots. Avoid logos and wording on your clothing. I dress my three boys identically and then coordinate the girls and mom and dad.

  1. Be on Time To Your Flytographer Session

Your photographer will likely have other sessions booked throughout the day, so it’s important to be on time for your appointment. This will ensure you have plenty of time for your session and that your photographer doesn’t have to rush to another appointment.

  1. Relax and Have Fun With Your Photographer

The most important thing is to relax and have fun during your session. Your photographer will guide you through the process, so you don’t need to worry about knowing how to pose or what to do.

  1. Be Open With Your Flytographer Photographer

Tell your photographer what you want to achieve, and be open if you’re unsatisfied with the results. Want headshots of everyone? Just ask! Want different family combos? Go for it! Want action shots? Say it!

Overall, we loved our experience with Claudia and Flytographer. I was stunned when they came within just a few days, and I fell in love with the photos Claudia captured for our family. I can’t wait to print them and showcase them in our home in Lisbon!
